- Hi there! My name is Tanya Power. I have been involved in sport all of my life as a basketball, volleyball, soccer, track and rugby athlete. I have also been involved in minor hockey and minor soccer for the past 7 years. I have a passion to promote active and healthy living in children in both their lifestyles and their sport. I am a Learning Facilitator with the Alberta Government and National Coaching Certification Program. For the NCCP I am a Facilitator for the Fundamental Movement Skills, a component of the Canadian Sport for Life; Long Term Athlete Development Model. I developed an active living preschool at Cardel Place Sports and Recreation Association based on the Fundamental Movement Skills being incorporated every day. From my commitment and involvement in sport, I know that training is a vital component of building self-confidence, self-esteem, strength and skill. I have first aid training and a security police clearance
